Amy Vainieri (she/her/hers) is a Design leader and speaker in Silver Spring, Maryland, with over eighteen years of graphic and user experience design, operations, leadership, and management experience.

Amy Vainieri is a seasoned graphic and user experience designer, as well as a DesignOps/Program Management expert. She has thrived in both in-house and agency settings and is currently shaping user experience success as a UX Operations Manager at Indeed.

Throughout her career, Amy has partnered with local, national, and global organizations to revitalize and enhance their digital platforms, print materials, brands, and communication strategies. Notable clients include the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, Peace Corps, Cornell University, Doctors Without Borders, United Way Worldwide, the United Nations Foundation, and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

Passionate about election design and civic engagement, Amy was awarded a prestigious Fellowship with AIGA, during which she redesigned ballots and other election materials for Oregon’s state election division.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find Amy exploring hiking trails with her family or at her sewing machine, adding custom pieces to her wardrobe.
